What is AFCAT 2024?
The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. Candidates are selected based on their performance in the Online Written Exam and the Interview Round conducted by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). Candidates who choose the Ground Duty (Technical) branch are required to take the AFCAT CBT Exam and the Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).
There will be a total of 100 questions, which will be divided into four sections – General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

AFCAT 2022 - Exam Eligibility
AFCAT Eligibility Criteria for Flying Branch through AFCAT/ NCC Entry
- Candidates must be 20 to 24 years.
- The upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relax able up to 26 years.

Eligibility for the AFCAT Flying Branch: Educational Requirements
Candidates for the Flying Branch positions must possess one of the following educational credentials.

AFCAT Aeronautical Engineer Educational Criteria (Mechanical)

Eligibility for the NCC Flying Branch: Special Entry Criteria
- In the AFCAT Flying Branch, there are two eligibility requirements for the NCC special admission. Any one of these must be met by the applicants.
- The NCC Air Wing Senior Division 'C' certificate must be obtained on or after January 1, 2017. Candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of study in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60 percent marks or equivalent. Physical Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 2022
Candidates must be physically and intellectually fit in order to apply for the AFCAT. Candidates are encouraged to get a medical examination before filling out the AFCAT Application Form to prevent rejections later on. Candidates must also be free of any diseases or disabilities.

Eligibility for AFCAT for Government Employees
If applicants work for the government or a government-owned company, they must adhere to certain laws and restrictions in order to apply for the AFCAT 2022 exam. The No-Objection Certificate is comprised of these terms and policies. Examine the following policies in depth to obtain a better idea:
Aspirants (both from the government and from government-owned industrial sections) must demonstrate NOC during AFSB testing. Regardless of whether they are contractual, permanent, or temporary subordinates, the candidates must demonstrate this NOC.
If the authority gets a withhold grant from the employer, the applicants' candidatures may be terminated (even after they have applied for AFCAT).
If the employers are unable to provide the NOC (for whatever reason), the denial will be reviewed in writing and sent to the AFSB.
Eligibility for the AFCAT in 2024: Disqualification
If the applicants do not pass the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) or the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) on the first try, they will be disqualified.
If applicants enroll their names in any of the below-mentioned courses before the suspension of flight cadets from the Air Force Academy's flying instruction, they will not be permitted to apply for the AFCAT 2022 exam:
