What is NTSE 2024?
The National Talent Search Exam (NTSE), formerly known as the NSTSS (National Science Talent Search Scheme), is a national scholarship test designed to detect and improve students' talents, logical thinking, and mental abilities.
Every year, for class 10 pupils, an all-India competitive examination is held in two stages: Stage 1 (State-Level) and Stage 2 (National-Level) (National Level). If an applicant wishes to be considered for the scholarship, he or she must pass both exams.
For the NTSE 2024 test, students have the option of applying both online and offline. Students studying in India as well as those studying in other countries are both eligible to take the NTSE. The prime objective of the NTSE exam is to assess a certain set of competencies in pupils.
Stage 1 is administered by SCERT or state agencies, whereas Stage 2 is administered by NCERT on a national basis. Students who pass the Stage 1 test are eligible to take the Stage 2 exam.
The NTSE test has two parts: the Scholastic Aptitude Test (NTSE) and the Mental Ability Test (MAT). They each include 100 questions worth one mark, and students have two hours to complete each paper. A total of 2000 individuals are shortlisted and monthly scholarships are offered.
