JEE Exam 2024 - Eligibility

Authorities have published the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2024 along with the official pamphlet. Candidates must confirm their eligibility for JEE Main 2024 before filling out the application form. The NTA JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria that candidates must meet include guidelines on age, required academic background, 10 + 2 courses, pass rates, and more. Candidates applying for the Class 12 exam with the lowest qualification grade qualification are eligible. JEE Mains 2024 age limit

There is no age limit for appearing for the exam

Qualifying Examination

Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021. Candidates appearing for the class 12 board examination in JEE Main 2024 exam will be also eligible.

Subjects to study in 10+2 or equivalent

Candidates must have studied a minimum of 5 subjects which will be considered. They are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, Language and any other subject

12th percentage required for JEE Mains 2024

Candidates should secure a minimum of 75% in the 12th class exam for admission. For BArch admissions, the minimum marks is 50%.

From last two years, the minimum 75% marks criteria have been relaxed on account of COVID-19. Candidates who qualified class 12 or equivalent were eligible.

Number of attempts

All aspirants can appear two times a year. Students can appear for JEE Main for three years consecutively therefore the total attempts allowed for each student will be twelve in three years

JEE Exam 2024 - Important Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has revised the test date for JEEMain2024. The JEE Mains 2024 exam will be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29, and 1st and 4th, 2024. A modified schedule for JEE Mains 2024 is available on the official website, where candidates can be found.

JEE (Main) – 2024 Session 1 has been rescheduled by the National Testing Institute due to the demand of popular students. Registration for JEE (Main) – 2024 Session – 1 for 202423 has started. The National Testing Agency (NTA) website is a great place to find the latest information.

JEE Mains Exam 2024

The exam was scheduled for April 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. The application process for JEE Main 2024 has started and the deadline for submission is March 31st. The official website has online payment options. The Engineering Entrance Exam is for candidates who have completed at least 5 subjects plus 2 exams in each field.

The participants in the JEE (Main)-2024 exam are not tied to their age. Persons over the age of 18 who have passed or participated in Class 12 or equivalent exams in 2020, 2021, or 2024 can take the JEE (Main) –2024 exam regardless of age. Candidates who do not meet the minimum age may need to meet the requirements of the institution applying.

JEE Mains Syllabus 2024 for Physics

The syllabus of JEE Mains 2024 for Physics is divided into two sections, Section A, which constitutes the theory part and has a weightage of 80% in the exam, and Section B containing practical components or experimental skills has a 20% weightage in the exam. JEE Exam Results 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the JEE Main 2024 result on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. On ntaresults.nic.in, the JEE Main result link will also be activated.

On the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in., the National Testing Agency will announce the results of JEE Main 2024. Using their application number, date of birth, and password, candidates can verify their results. The JEE Main 2024 result will be released soon after the examination is finished. The NTA will hold the JEE Main 2024 test in two shifts, with each phase's results being disclosed separately. Phase 1 of the JEE Main exam will be held from June 20 to June 29, 2024. The cutoff is determined by the final rank in the list, which is determined by the score you received in the exam. You will not be eligible for admission to any of the participating universities if your score falls below the cutoff.

The All India Rank is determined by analyzing 60% of your score on the basis of your JEE scores and the remaining 40% on the basis of your conventional 12th Board exam grades.
