RBI Eligibility Criteria 2024

RBI Eligibility - Age Limit:

Candidates between the ages of 21 and 30 years old as of January 1, 2024 are invited to apply, according to the RBI Grade B Notification. Candidates with M.Phil. And PhD degrees, on the other hand, are offered age exemptions. For such individuals, the highest age restriction is 32 and 34 years, respectively. Furthermore, candidates from the reserved category are entitled for a Government of India-mandated reduction in the maximum age restriction.

RBI Grade B 2024 Eligibility - Minimum Educational Qualification:

According to the RBI Grade B Notification, you must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% (50 percent for reserved categories, such as SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade, as well as 10th and 12th standard examinations from any recognized university/board.

Prelims Exam

  • The RBI Grade B Prelims test will be worth 200 points and will last 120 minutes.
  • In the admittance letter, there will be a sectional length that will be specified.
  • There will be four parts in all.
  • Candidates who pass the Prelims will be able to take the mains test, also known as Phase 2.

Mains Exam
  • The mains exam consists of three different papers.
  • Candidates for RBI Grade B Officers in Gr B (DR)-General must take Papers I, II, and III.
  • Candidates for RBI Grade B Officers in Gr B (DR)- DEPR & DSIM must take Papers II and III.
  • Papers I and III are 50 % objective and 50 % descriptive, respectively, but Paper II is purely descriptive.
  • Each paper consists of 100 marks.
  • The English paper is a descriptive test.

You will be able to fill out the RBI Grade B notice as well as the application form online once it is released on the RBI's official website. The online application for RBI Officer Grade B will be accepted on the RBI's official website.

How to Apply for RBI Officer Grade B 2022 Exam Online

  • Visit the RBI's official website, rbi.org.in.
  • At the bottom of the page, click on the Opportunities section.
  • Click on the current openings section to open a new tab.
  • Select "RBI Officer Grade B Recruitment 2024" from the drop-down menu.
  • Now, select "Application Form" from the drop-down menu.
  • A new tab will appear, requesting your registration.
  • Select New Registration from the drop-down menu.
  • Complete the form with the right information from your official papers.
  • Save the file and then submit a scanned photo and signature image.
  • Check all of your information before pressing the submit button.
  • Finally, pay the application cost that corresponds to your category.
  • Paying the application fee online with a debit/credit card, mobile wallet, or net banking is necessary.

RBI Exam 2024 - Application Fee Details

  • The application fee varies depending on the category.
  • SC/ST/PwBD categories cost INR 100, whereas General, EWS, and OBC categories cost INR 850.
  • Candidates will be responsible for any bank/transaction fees.
  • Applications that do not include a fee will be rejected.
  • In no case will the charge be reimbursed once it has been paid.
  • The application fee can be paid using a debit/credit card or a net banking account.

      RBI 2024 Admit Card

      Candidates who plan to take the exam should download their RBI Grade B Admit Card from the official website or the direct link. Candidates will receive separate admit cards for the Prelims and Mains of the RBI Grade B Exam. Candidates who successfully submit their RBI Grade B Online Application Form will receive a Prelims Call Letter, and candidates who qualify for the prelims phase of the RBI Grade B 2022 Exam will receive a Mains Admit Card.

      RBI 2024 Results

      The Reserve Bank of India will announce the RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Result shortly as the Prelims Exam is over. Only once the final result is announced will the applicants' marks in the RBI Grade B Exam Prelims, Main Exam, and Interview be published on the Bank's website. After the interview procedure is completed, the merit list is created in decreasing order of the candidates' marks.

      RBI Cut-off 2024

      After each step of the exam is finished, the RBI Grade B 2024 cut off will be announced. The Prelims exam cut-off will be announced first, followed by the Mains exam cut-off. Candidates can assess their performance and prospects of selection by comparing their scores to the RBI's cut-off list. Meanwhile, you may look at the previous year's cut-off to get an estimate of how much you'll need to score to pass the RBI Grade B Exam 2022.
